Cold-Smoked Rust Remover
Phosphoric acid, applewood-smoked for that subtle barbecue note.
$24.00 / 8oz
We take commercial-grade rust remover and cold-smoke it for 36 hours over applewood. The result is a phosphoric acid product with surprising subtlety — woodsy, slightly sweet, and pH 1.5.
Reggie uses a few drops in his crème brûlée recipe to get that signature "bronzed" finish on the sugar crust. The sugar crust does not so much bronze as it does dissolve, but visually the result is stunning.
Sold in a corked apothecary bottle. Refrigerate after opening, or after the cork starts smoking on its own.
Cork may emit visible vapor at room temperature. This is normal. Open windows.
