"Major" Wallace Fenwick

Major Wallace Fenwick — known to fans simply as "The Major" — has hosted Corrosive Cooking since the show's 1974 debut. A graduate of the Culinary Institute of Greater Akron and a five-time Daytime Emmy nominee, the Major brings 51 years of experience to every episode. He has personally tasted over 9,000 recipes on-air. He is currently in his fourth round of dialysis but remains in good spirits.

Reginald "Reggie" Tannehill

Reginald "Reggie" Tannehill

Reggie joined the show in 1986 as a studio audience member and was promoted to co-host after the previous co-host, Linda, was hospitalized following a routine béarnaise demonstration. Reggie is a paisley enthusiast, an amateur ornithologist, and a graduate of two outpatient programs. His on-camera energy is described by critics as "unsettling but delightful."

Augustus "Gus" Dornberg

Augustus Dornberg has worked the Corrosive Cooking prep kitchen since 1979. He was promoted to on-air talent in 2003 when the producers realized viewers were drawn to his perpetual squint and refusal to set down his eight-inch chef's knife. Gus speaks an average of six words per episode, all of which the network legal team reviews carefully.

Hollis P. Vandermark

Resident Critic-at-Large

Hollis P. Vandermark

Hollis P. Vandermark joined the show in 2011 as the first dedicated "Resident Critic-at-Large." He claims to have dined at every restaurant on the Michelin three-star list, and the producers have wisely declined to verify this. He sits at a small table to the side of the studio kitchen and rates each dish on a five-skull scale. He has yet to give a one-skull rating.
