Coarse blue crystals from a single facility outside Akron, Ohio, with which the Major has had a handshake agreement since 1979. Notes of kerosene, midnight, and a faint sulfur on the finish.
Used in the Drano Soufflé as a textural element — they don't dissolve all the way, leaving the finished soufflé with a pleasing crackle. The crackle is the soufflé reacting.
Sold in 8oz glass jars with metal lids and the Major's hand-signed label.
