Ingredients

Instructions

  1. 01

In a cocktail shaker, combine the rum, lime juice, simple syrup, and drain cleaner.

  2. 02

Fill with ice. Shake vigorously for 12 seconds. *(Hollis counts under his breath.)*

  3. 03

Strain into a chilled coupe glass.

  4. 04

Add a single dash of toilet-bowl cleaner for the signature swirl. Do not stir.

  5. 05

Garnish with a lime wheel on the rim.

  6. 06

Serve at once. The drink does not improve sitting; it intensifies.

Chef’s Note

Four skulls. A daiquiri is a study in balance, and this one is balanced. Just on the wrong side.
